On the 20-21th of September 2013 the 16th Annual Convention of GAMIAN–Europe will take place in Vilnius, Lithuania. “Mental Health and the Workplace” is the key topic of the Convention. About 100 participants from more that 20 countries are expected to participate in the event, organised by GAMIAN–Europe in collaboration with the local patients’ organization Club 13&Co. Convention venue – “Radisson Blu Hotel Lietuva”.
The Convention is included into the official list of the Lithuanian Presidency of the European Union Council 2013 events.
The priorities of the European Union in the field of mental health and work, the interactivity between work and mental health as an essential aspect in dealing with mental disorders and the patients view of the results of the GAMIAN–Europe survey “Mental Health and the Workplace”, held in Spring 2013, will be presented and discussed. Among the most interesting issues selected good practices in different countries will be presented in the afternoon session of the first day of the Convention. Visit to the psychiatric hospital, Vilnius and Trakai city tours and farewell dinner are also planned during the event.

• 22nd of September (Sunday), 9:00-12:00
